Legal
Terms
Updated 20 September 2026
These terms cover use of https://www.theindustrialbrief.com and the emails we send. English law. Courts of England and Wales.
The company number will be added when we incorporate. Until then the publisher is the person operating this journal.
The journal
What we publish is journalism and analysis, not advice to buy plant, materials, software, or shares. You decide. We can be wrong. When we are, we correct on the same page.
Copyright in original text, layout, and the The Industrial Brief name sits with the publisher. You may quote a short extract, with a link. You may not copy an article, a briefing, or the archive. You may not scrape the site. You may not use our text or images to train a model without a written licence.
Your account
Work email. A password you do not reuse. You are responsible for the account. Close it by writing to privacy@theindustrialbrief.com.
Emails stop when you say so. The account can remain if you still want to save pieces.
Partners
Paid presence is labelled Partner. We write and edit it. We can refuse a launch, a brochure, or a claim we cannot stand behind. Underwriting is not a veto on the rest of the journal.
Rates and units are on the media pack. A booking is a separate written order. Until that exists, the pack is information, not an offer.
The site
We try to keep it up. We do not promise it will be. Do not attack it, overload it, or try to break into someone else’s account.
If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still stands.
